LC7 was designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1927 for her flat in Saint-Sulpice square, Paris, this small armchair was first exhibited in 1928 at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in the Salle à Manger 28, and then in 1929 at the famous Salon d’Automne. It was also integrated within the iconic collection co-signed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
LC 7 is a revolving small armchair with the frame in polished trivalent chrome plated (CR3) or in painted steel in a wide choice of colours: semigloss grey, light blue, green, brown, mud, ivory or black. It's possible to have it with 4 or 5 legs. The back and the seat cushion are padded with a CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Upholstery can be in fabric or in leather. An outdoor version is also available for this model.
